Delicate Situation is about lying to yourself and calling it something else. It's about not doing the work to be a better person, but expecting others to do better. It's about power plays, double standards and toxic dynamics. We've all been there, so it's about any of us. Obviously, it's about doing therapy and breaking generational trauma. This is the inner world.
It also illustrates the everchanging status quo of the world, the violence, the abuse and the oppression people experience every day. This is the outer world.
It's my take on how I've been navigating through the world in the past few years. I made this song to remind myself to take accountability for my actions, but also to hold people accountable for their bad behaviour and to clearly communicate my boundaries.
